In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for a diverse fleet of light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. Your expertise in diesel engine systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and preventative maintenance will be crucial to ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on a wide range of vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck equipment components, including but not limited to electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters/alternators, air conditioning systems, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, differentials, and more.
  • Utilize test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges to inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment for malfunctions.
  • Road test vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, and exceed expectations.
  • Manage your daily schedule independently, prioritizing tasks and allocating time efficiently.
  • Maintain company-issued service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • Document work performed, parts used, and findings observed on Repair Orders (ROs) using company-issued iOS devices and our proprietary TRAIT application.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and all other required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with proven experience as a diesel mechanic, along with a strong understanding of automotive repair principles. A valid driver's license and a commitment to safety are essential.
