As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team at Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Our MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating the MRI scanner, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Operate the MRI scanner, adjusting settings as needed to ensure high-quality images
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during exams, responding promptly to any concerns or issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health, or equivalent training
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RT(MR)) or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction
