Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Substance Use Disorder Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director to provide guidance on the development and treatment of substance use disorders in patients at MGB Salem Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine and experience working with patients who struggle with substance use disorders. You will be responsible for providing guidance on the development of substance use disorder treatment in the outpatient setting, including the intensive outpatient program. Additionally, you will participate in hospital-wide, community-based, and MGB SUD task forces.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to address substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on the development and treatment of substance use disorders in patients at MGB Salem Hospital
  • Work closely with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director to develop and implement substance use disorder treatment programs
  • Participate in hospital-wide, community-based, and MGB SUD task forces
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with substance use disorders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and healthcare providers to promote collaboration and coordination of care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of five years experience in treatment of SUD patients, including patients who struggle with other co-occurring disorders
  • Minimum of two years in providing supervisory experience to Clinicians required
  • Any licensed discipline (PhD/PsyD, LICSW or LMHC)
