IT Project Director

The Enterprise IT Portfolio Manager will lead the planning, establishment, and management of information technology projects, acting as a liaison between business and technical aspects of assigned projects. The project manager identifies goals, objectives, and scope while maintaining timelines, resources, and budgets. Key responsibilities include delivering major projects related to designing, developing, and improving IT systems and services across FFF Enterprises.
This role supports the Project Management Office (PMO) with all IT project communications, PMO processes, and IT project reporting. The ideal candidate has experience working within a healthcare organization and background working with client/customer-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure deliverables are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to define needs or problems and provide appropriate recommendations for possible solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project resources, IT leadership, and vendors.
- Define, manage, and implement highly visible integration projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external technology teams to ensure functional requirements are reflected in the final solution.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Build consensus among multiple project leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution.
- Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Requirements:
In order to succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field of study, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of two years of experience leading IT projects, including creating plans, coordinating resources, working within budgets, and verifying objectives are met, is required. Proficiency in Project Management Tools and Applications, Scheduling and Time Management, Risk Identification and Management, and knowledge of IT Operations, Systems, or Infrastructure are essential skills. Additionally, experience with analytics and ERP projects is preferred.
The estimated salary for this role is $115,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
