Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to contribute to the assembly of refrigeration cases or partial sub-assemblies, which may include ends, base frames, hardware kits, plenums, or other components as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand an "A" order.
- Identify components used on the designated product line and their respective placement.
- Recognize power and hand tools utilized on the assigned product line.
- Comprehend the work order effectively.
- Execute assembly functions using hand or power tools.
- Identify parts and their descriptions based on work order details.
- Utilize material gauging and dimensioning information appropriately.
- Measure accurately using rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other instruments.
- Secure components together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Adapt to various workstations as production demands change.
- Collaborate as a member of the assembly team to complete units.
- Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical aids on a regular basis.
Work Environment:
The role is situated within a production setting, which may involve exposure to temperature fluctuations, hazardous materials, mechanical components, elevated noise levels, and dust.
