Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the operation and staff of our restaurants, maintaining the highest level of standards and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a consistently smooth running operation by monitoring and critiquing food quality and service levels.
  • Hire and train all staff members to meet the highest standards of performance.
  • Forecast and schedule staff according to occupancy levels to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Daily track payroll and revenue to ensure profitability and accuracy.
  • Counsel and coach staff to improve performance and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant by inspecting tabletops, side-stations, and other areas.
  • Monitor current inventories and assist with end-of-month inventories to maintain accurate records.
  • Order new products as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Attend department head meetings, conferences, and pre-con meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a similar upscale setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive results, and implement change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with colleagues, guests, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, forecasting, and scheduling software a plus.
