You will assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills, design and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and their families on patient deficits and adaptive equipment use.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits
  • Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills
  • Design and implement treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families on patient deficits and adaptive equipment use
  • Oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 months of hire date
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
