Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Next Move Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as necessary.
  • Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and enter charges accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff.
  • Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure adherence to national, state, and organizational regulatory guidelines.
  • Align personal work goals with the systems overall objectives to contribute to organizational success.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
  • Certification/License:
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer).
