In the context of the completion-based Operations Task Order, your role will be pivotal in enhancing AEA's operational support and security framework, enabling analysts to effectively navigate the extensive landscape of analytic capabilities to fulfill mission objectives. AEA Operations collaborates across AEA and engages with the Intelligence Community when tools are utilized by users beyond NSA. The AEA Operations and AEA ISSO teams bear the ultimate responsibility for the STE/STN compliance of their supported systems and will implement solutions to ensure that all supported tools remain compliant with evolving STE/STN requirements.

SAIC is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to collaborate closely with colleagues and other mid to large-sized teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working on substantial and demonstrable projects, preferably utilizing AWS, and possess familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python. Additionally, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential, along with an understanding of how to establish a CI/CD pipeline and familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance optimization and automation across various platforms and applications.
  • Ensure consistency in deployment and build processes.
  • Leverage modern tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and more.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and translate those needs from product specifications into functional, production-ready code and infrastructure.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 14 years of relevant experience, or 19 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma.
  • Proficiency with AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Registries), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation), and CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
