Job Title: Senior Cloud Administrator

Phoenix Operations Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining large multi-node clusters for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS or its classified equivalents.
  • Develop and maintain automated DevOps pipelines to implement CI/CD across development efforts and platforms.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with cybersecurity engineers.
  • Automate administration tasks to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Design new platforms and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience administering Linux-based platforms.
  • 10+ years of experience with automation technologies (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef).
  • 10+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or its classified equivalents.
  • 10+ years of experience with Bash or other shell scripting languages.
  • 10+ years of experience implementing automated DevOps pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Docker Containers and orchestration Swarm or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with distributed computing technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
  • Certifications from Cloudera, Red Hat, Amazon Web Services or Security+.
