Pharmacy Operations Manager

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail pharmacy locations. This role requires a strong leader who can manage multiple sites, prioritize tasks, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including associate engagement, patient experience, and volume growth.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee the selection, onboarding, training, and supervision of new associates.
  • Monitor and manage productivity, maintain adequate inventory, and resolve issues requiring management intervention.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to achieve companywide resource efficiencies and alignment of priorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, with 2 years of multi-site management experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and independent judgment skills required.

MedStar Health offers a competitive salary range of $80,995 - $144,102, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
