About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential social work intervention and counseling services to patients and clients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient psychosocial needs and develop plans to meet established goals
  • Counsel individuals and families in crisis, addressing issues such as poverty, loss, and illness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care goals
  • Facilitate referrals to community agencies and provide financial counseling as needed
  • Respond to crisis situations, including domestic violence and child abuse
  • Provide witness services and evidence in court cases, as required
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program
  • Active license as an LCSW in the state of practice
  • Minimum one year of social work experience, preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
