Position Highlights:

  • Annual Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000, depending on experience
  • Standard Monday to Friday work schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations to define groups, families, routing, bill of materials, and other manufacturing needs (tooling, jigs, etc.) for all products.
  • Input all product information into the system for both new and existing modifications, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Offer insights and recommendations regarding raw material specifications, machinery/equipment requirements, and new process tooling on product development initiatives.
  • Lead configuration processes by facilitating communication across all plants, ensuring product configuration in the system for initial and subsequent production runs.
  • Transform existing configurations into the NetSuite configurator, ensuring standardization for similar products.
  • Prepare drawings for customer approval on both existing and new products.
  • Conduct regular cost evaluations of active business and develop cost estimates and quoting models for all operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant post-secondary education; a degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is highly preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret customer and internal prints.
  • Understanding of product types and configurator maintenance.
