Position Summary

Compensation: $18.60 per hour
Additional Compensation: An extra $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM, and an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM.

  • Under supervision, assist senior brood maintenance technicians in delivering brood maintenance support by executing basic brood maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and assist other teams as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and disease control protocols while executing job responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of training and/or experience providing a foundational understanding of brood maintenance systems and practices, including:
    • Proficiency with basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measures, wire strippers, etc.
    • Ability to use electrical voltage testers.
    • Familiarity with lockout/tagout equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work from a ladder.
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory DMV record.
