Sales and Marketing Internship at NBC Connecticut

NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships offer students invaluable hands-on experience in the television sector. These internships are compensated and do not necessitate academic credit.
Compensation: Minimum wage.
Role Description:
The Sales Marketing intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales team. Your contributions will include assisting in the creation of multi-platform marketing campaigns and strategies aimed at generating advertising revenue for the stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of sales marketing materials, including tailored sales presentations, campaign summaries, and performance reports.
- Engage in light graphic design tasks, which may involve creating display advertisements, flyers, and promotional graphics using design software.
- Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions with the sales team to devise innovative solutions for advertisers.
- Generate creative ideas for advertisers that could lead to new revenue opportunities by staying informed about current events, market trends, and competitive strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and implement marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and services.
- Assist in managing workflows for commercial production and lifestyle shows, including gathering necessary elements, scheduling projects, and overseeing edits.
- Support the execution of social media promotions and contests, including drafting rules, creating content for social platforms, and tracking campaign success.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective pre- and post-sales service, facilitating smooth communication between sales, production, and clients.
- Help organize marketing events and community activities by tracking event logistics and coordinating resources.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
