Critical Care Nurse

At Emory University Hospital Midtown, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and utilizing advanced critical thinking skills in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, including monitoring and assessing patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans, and maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to make sound judgments and decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure environments, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning in critical care nursing, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- 18 months ICU experience
- Georgia or Compact License
- AHA BLS, ACLS certifications
- CRRT experience preferred
