Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Join Our Team of Critical Care ExpertsWe are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team in various locations across the Emory system. As a Critical Care APP, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat critically ill patients in our specialty ICU's
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatments
- Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- At least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties
- Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
