We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Mayhill Hospital in Denton, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to adults and seniors with mental health and chemical dependency issues.
Job Summary
The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is responsible for prescribing, coordinating, and evaluating patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members. Key duties include documenting patient changes, employing effective communication techniques, prioritizing care plans, and adhering to facility policies.
Responsibilities
- Document significant patient condition changes according to facility policy
- Employ principles of communication, interviewing, problem-solving, and crisis intervention in psychotherapeutic interventions
- Prioritize and formulate patient care plans based on assessment and policy

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred
- Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification and training in CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention required
