**About the Role:**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mercy Hospice team as an End-of-Life Care Nurse Specialist.

Overview:

The RN is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to terminally ill patients in their place of residence. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and supporting patients and their families during a difficult time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled professional nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with physician orders and Missouri Nurse Practice Act standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify changing patient needs and update care plans accordingly.
  • Foster open communication with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure informed decision-making and seamless transitions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Missouri.
  • BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Recent hospice or long-term care experience is preferred, but not required.
