We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OB/GYN Physician to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our women's health program.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing your expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and serve as an admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty, including on-call schedules.
