Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at TruPlay Games. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and high-performance backend services using C# and the.NET framework.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain server-side components using C# and the.NET framework.
  • Implement scalable and high-performance backend services.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Ensure API endpoints are well-documented and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively.
  • Collaborate with a team using branching strategies and pull requests.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of backend services.
  • Implement and advocate for test-driven development (TDD) practices.
  • Contribute to the architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable backend systems.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture.
Requirements
  • Proficient in C# programming language and the.NET framework.
  • Experience with web frameworks like ASP.NET Core for building web applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit) for backend testing.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.
