Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher Supervisor I to join our team at the City and County of San Francisco. As a Cement Finisher Supervisor I, you will be responsible for supervising the activities of cement finishers and other skilled craft workers engaged in various maintenance and repair cement finishing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, assign, and supervise the work of cement finishers and related craftsmen at various locations.
  • Prepare labor and materials cost estimates for various jobs.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with instructions and standard procedures.
  • Keep time of employees and make required reports on materials and time expended on each project.
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of cement finishing and related equipment.
  • Assist in the development and advancement of staff.
  • Attend and conduct safety meetings.
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public and others.
  • Coordinate work with other craft supervisors.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized three-year cement mason apprenticeship program.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a journey-level cement mason.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid class C driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suites.
  • Knowledge of ADA curb ramp slopes.
