ASRC Federal Holding Company is in search of a seasoned Lead Software Testing and Validation Specialist with a TS/SCI clearance to enhance our team.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the US Space Force (USSF) by developing and implementing cyber capabilities that safeguard mission systems against potential threats.


The Lead Software Testing and Validation Specialist will act as the central figure for all agile software development processes concerning testing and validation.

This position demands proficiency in deploying cybersecurity applications and services, alongside the capability to offer expert guidance on the creation of test artifacts.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the testing and validation initiatives for all software development endeavors, collaborating closely with development teams to guarantee comprehensive testing and validation of all software.


Formulate and uphold test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure meticulous testing of all software components and interfaces.

Provide expert counsel on test automation, encompassing test-driven development, software test planning, and software test automation.

Create and maintain automated test scripts utilizing programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

Establish and manage a binary repository lifecycle management system, employing tools like Artifactory.

Ensure adherence to DOD RMF Certification requirements for all testing and validation operations.


Foster and sustain robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, while proactively communicating project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders.


Collaborate with various teams, including development, cybersecurity, and operations, to ensure that all testing and validation activities are synchronized and aligned with program objectives.


Guarantee compliance with SAFe Agile methodologies and best practices to manage the software development lifecycle, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

This position offers a salary range of $130,000 - $190,000 based on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.

Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP access.

8+ years of experience in test automation related to test-driven development, software test planning, and/or software test automation.


Strong programming language expertise with a background in at least one of the following: C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

2+ years of experience utilizing Artifactory for automation and binary repository lifecycle management.

DOD 8570/8140 Certification.

Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. SAFe Agilist preferred.

Experience with the United States Space Force (USSF) or United States Air Force (USAF) preferred.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of software components and interfaces.
