Water Resources Engineer Opportunity

Davis & Floyd Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team in South Carolina. This position will involve working on consulting, planning, design, engineering, and services during construction in support of water and wastewater infrastructure serving our communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water and wastewater system infrastructure and the theory and practice of hydraulic engineering. They will also have experience with hydraulic modeling and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning, coordination, production, and management of detailed designs for our Water Resources team.
  • Work with a strong team environment of highly motivated professionals and for a company that prides itself on integrity and quality.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of water and wastewater system infrastructure and the theory and practice of hydraulic engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of South Carolina or ability to obtain such through reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive design experience in water and wastewater systems.
