Job Summary

Tesla Energy is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation energy products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C and C++ programming, as well as experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance real-time software in C and C++ for embedded systems
  • Collaborate with hardware and system teams to optimize system design
  • Drive software development for performance, scalability, and tight integration with hardware
  • Assist in tool development for testing and system integration
  • Implement continuous improvements and best practices within the team and organization
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in C and C++ programming, including multi-threaded and multi-process systems
  • Strong software fundamentals, including architectural design, algorithm development, and data structures
  • Desired: experience with electrical and electronics fundamentals, FMEA analysis, and system startup and scripting
