Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Healthcare for the Homeless Inc. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide clinical supervision to staff, make personnel decisions, and provide integrated therapy services to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular clinical supervision to staff and conduct performance evaluations
  • Make personnel decisions, including hiring, termination, and promotion
  • Provide integrated therapy services to clients across the lifespan
  • Actively participate on an integrated, multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention services and after-hour phone coverage
  • Complete documentation of services in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Licensure as a LCSW-C and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Approved Supervisor
  • Personal vehicle and valid Maryland driver's license
  • Registered as a supervisor with their respective licensing board
  • Certified in addictions as a CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, or LCADC preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience doing field instruction
  • Four years of experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders
  • Four years of experience providing therapeutic services directly to clients
  • Experience in a community or public health setting
  • Proficient in Spanish
  • Knowledge of common health-related issues for homeless individuals
