Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse in our Critical Care Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible outcomes.
With a focus on delivering culturally effective care, you will be an integral part of our team, working together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Oversee care delivered by patient care teams, coordinating plans of care to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and facilitate learning for patients, families, and patient care teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- At least 1-year acute care pediatric critical care hospital experience required.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas required.
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association required.
- PALS/NRP/ACLS certification required (department-specific requirements).
