Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Medical City Dallas (MCD) in the Transplant ICU. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the Transplant ICU, with a focus on excellent patient services.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Transplant ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, including titrating drips and managing patients on vents.
- Perform various procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering medications, and performing blood draws.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2+ years of experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Experience with titrating drips and managing patients on vents.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience in a Transplant ICU setting.
- CRRT experience.
- Transplant experience.
