Job Description:

Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Production Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient startup, operation, and rundown of assigned production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Directly responsible for the efficient startup, operation, and rundown of assigned production lines, ensuring equipment is properly setup and run-ready.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and communicate action plans to improve shortfalls, reduce/minimize downtime, and ensure timely and correct product changeover.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify and control all product and package weights to assure compliance, while still delivering favorable production variances.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete documentation and other paperwork, ensuring accuracy of all paperwork and product coding, guaranteeing compliance with established regulatory and/or internal standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, setting a high standard for excellence and performance, and promote a positive, professional team-oriented attitude.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement, make suggestions regarding improvements in operational methods, equipment performance and uptime, line efficiency, and scrap reduction.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, some college coursework preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, strong organizational skills, ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with team members.
  • Experience: Ability to lead fairly, firmly, and consistently, ability to interact and to manage conflict while maintaining composure and perspective.
