  • Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, reduce healthcare disparities, and improve primary care services' overall effectiveness.
  • Operational and Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Family Medicine Department, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal staffing levels, and effective resource allocation.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure professional growth and high morale among team members.
  • Community Engagement and Outreach: Engage with the local community to understand and address their primary care needs, and develop and implement community outreach programs to increase access to care.
  • Strategic Planning and Innovation: Work closely with the CMO and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic plans for the Family Medicine Department that align with Codman Square Health Center's overall goals.
Requirements:
  • MD or DO, licensed to practice in Massachusetts with at least five years of clinical experience, including at least two years in a leadership role within a primary care or family medicine setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a multidisciplinary healthcare team, with a strong track record of improving clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving strategic objectives.
Working Conditions:

The role requires a blend of clinical and administrative duties, with the expectation of maintaining a clinical practice within the department.
