Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to oversee our procurement processes and ensure efficient sourcing and purchasing of products, supplies, and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Procurement: Order products, supplies, and services using purchase orders as requested by the team.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and provide regular reports to management.
• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with existing vendors and source, screen, and process new vendors.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement software is preferred.
