Job Summary

The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual needs and the standards of practice. This includes administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient progress. Key Responsibilities
  • General Nursing Care
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
    • Conduct frequent rounds to evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery
  • Resident Care
    • Provide individualized care to residents based on their unique needs and preferences
    • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
    • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to supervisors or physicians
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and develop care plans
  • Quality Improvement
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • One year of prior nursing experience preferred
