We are currently seeking skilled **Operator Technicians** for the **2nd shift** with a potential career path towards becoming a **Maintenance Technician**. In this role, you will initially serve as a **Finish Technician**, tasked with setting up machinery and being the primary responder to any operational issues within your designated area.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up finishing machines and performing preliminary troubleshooting.
  • Identifying machine malfunctions and collaborating with a **Maintenance Technician** for further repairs.
  • Providing guidance and training to fellow operators to minimize recurring equipment issues.
  • Monitoring all equipment within your department to ensure optimal performance.

Effective communication skills are essential, as you will need to respond to radio calls and coordinate with team members. The equipment you will work with includes hydraulic and pneumatic systems, spray guns, conveyors, ovens, and various mechanical components.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent professional communication skills.

**Work Environment:**

Be prepared for designated work areas that may reach high temperatures during peak summer months, and exposure to paint and stain fumes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is mandatory for specific tasks.
