Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Clinical Educator and Perinatal Safety Specialist to join our team at CHI Health Good Samaritan. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with education and patient safety initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs for nursing staff
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to promote patient safety and quality of care initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop implementation plans for education programs
  • Act as a change agent and mentor to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and evidence-based practice
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of educational tools and resources
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety within the healthcare facility
Requirements
  • BSN required; Master's degree in Nursing or completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact
  • Basic life support certification required upon hire
  • Minimum three years relevant nursing experience and nursing education experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing
  • Experience with quality improvement/process improvement techniques and project/program management
  • Certification in one of the following: CCRN-NEO, C-EFM, RN-BC, MCN, RN-BC-PERI, RNC [OB, GYN, NEONATAL], RNC-LRN, RNC-MNN, RNC-NIC, RNC-OB, C-EFM
