We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at LC Industries. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling metal or plastic products, working at a bench or on a production floor.
Key Responsibilities- Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Remove small quantities of metal or plastics with hand files, clippers, and scrapers to produce a close fit between parts
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, closing press, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
- Inspect machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
- Ensure that a good quality product is being produced before it is packaged
- Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
The Assembly Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment with moderate noise levels. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
