About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering and facilities team at Lennox International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, improving quality, and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Direct the technical organization to ensure progress according to technical objectives, within budgetary and schedule guidelines.
  • Manufacturing Engineering: Review product design for manufacturability and work to improve quality and ease of assembly support functions.
  • Cost Reduction: Direct Manufacturing Engineering efforts to reduce costs of assembly and plant operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for the preparation and management of all Engineering Departmental financial budgets.
  • Compliance: Responsible for departmental ISO and SOX requirements.
  • Project Management: Creates project plans, timelines, critical paths, and milestones. Perform cost-benefit evaluation for all assigned projects to define potential financial, business, and industry impacts of initiatives.
  • Strategic Advisor: Advisor to senior leadership on the continuous improvement strategy and transformation to tactically deploy Lean transformation.
Requirements
  • Successful, 10+ year track record in large, single site industrial manufacturing organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial, demonstrating willingness for learning and improvement.
  • Previous experience in strong Lean environments; Lean certification preferred.
