Internal Controls Testing Manager III

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Controls Testing Manager III to join our team at Coastal Community Bank. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute control testing plans to evaluate the effectiveness of our internal controls
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and remediate control weaknesses and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline testing procedures
  • Lead and manage internal or co-sourced teams in the execution of internal control testing
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to management and process owners
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant public accounting, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Compliance, and/or Risk Management experience
  • 3+ years of management experience in control testing or audit-related functions
  • Strong technical background in FinTech and knowledge of Accounting Principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams
