Solar Industry Ambassador

About the Job
The Brand Ambassador will promote Brooklyn SolarWorks' product and services, generating qualified leads through door-to-door canvassing and attending in-person events. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Generate appointments with new potential customers per month, achieving a 40% conversion rate from all opportunities to complete appointments.
- Collect contact information of prospective customers, identify their motivations, and conduct pitches.
- Understand and educate homeowners about the benefits of going solar.
- Become familiar with Brooklyn SolarWorks' brand and mission, relaying them to customers effectively.
- Provide outreach at in-person events by working a tent and table, flagging down potential customers, and generating brand awareness.
- Accurately keep records of customer interactions in BSW databases.
- Attend daily virtual morning check-ins and weekly in-person team meetings and trainings.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Strong customer service skills/customer-focused.
- Good computer/technology skills (Google Docs and email).
- Strong interpersonal skills, build relationships and network.
- A positive attitude and ability to keep moving forward.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: $22-$24/hour + commission
