Position Summary:

The On Call Banquet Bartender is responsible for the preparation, serving, and cleanup of the bar area during events. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests receive top-notch service while adhering to company standards and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests and cocktail servers, following established guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Process guest payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions, in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain inventory by completing liquor requisitions and supply lists.
  • Adhere to state liquor laws and company standards regarding beverage service.
  • Ensure that all sidework duties are completed as per the assigned schedules.

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of bartending training and certification, TIPS Certified.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a bartending role.

Skills: Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Ability to lift and carry trays, dish racks, and other items.
  • Continuous standing during service hours.
  • Climbing stairs as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
