You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, develop robust security protocols, and implement industry-leading cryptography solutions. With your passion for delivering high-quality results and commitment to excellence, you'll contribute significantly to our mission of providing secure and reliable internet access to underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build scalable security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services and other security-critical components
- Develop and implement innovative security features for our systems, leveraging advanced technologies such as Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
- Maintain and improve existing production systems, enhancing their security posture through direct implementation and recommendations to other teams
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure seamless integration of security solutions and maintain the highest standards of code quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience in security software development
- Proficiency in one or more software development languages (e.g., Python, C++, Golang)
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other large-scale infrastructure
