Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health FirstChoice. As a travel CST, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings and experience different facilities within the Trinity Health system.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms according to best practice methods and procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other patient care personnel during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program for Surgical Technologist
  • Preferred Certification: CST (certification requirement directed by local facility)
  • A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST and/or Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and to occasionally lift and position patients
  • Manual dexterity necessary to grasp and hold firmly retractors and delicate surgical instruments
