About the Role:

The Univision Communications Inc. News team is seeking a skilled Broadcast Communications Specialist to support the daily production of news shows, including those on our streaming news channel on VIX. This role will work closely with producers, reporters, and control room staff to ensure flawless execution of on-air product.

About You:

  • You have a passion for researching information, breaking news, and possess excellent writing skills.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communications.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in News and control room.
  • You are bilingual in English/Spanish communication, both written and oral.
  • You have excellent Spanish grammar.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Work on daily show rundown, development of supers, banners, and graphics.
  • Research information and materials necessary for production.
  • Work closely with producers and provide suggestions on the production of the story.
  • Primarily work with Despierta America news segments.
  • Required to work early morning shift.
