We are seeking a skilled Live Broadcasting Specialist to join our team at Univision Communications Inc. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment for live events, client activations, and remote broadcasts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and have a passion for live broadcasting and event production.

As a Live Broadcasting Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Event Setup & Operation:
  • Prepare and set up broadcast equipment at various remote locations, ensuring all technical aspects are ready for live transmissions.
  • Collaborate with the event team to execute client activations and promotional events seamlessly.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver outstanding service during events and activations.
  • Provide on-site support and coordination for promotional activities, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Technical Support:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with audio and transmission equipment during live events.
  • Perform regular maintenance on broadcasting gear and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Live Broadcast Execution:
  • Operate soundboards, microphones, and other equipment during live broadcasts, ensuring high-quality audio.
  • Monitor broadcasts for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment used, issues encountered, and solutions implemented during events.
  • Report on event outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in live broadcasting, live event production, or technical support is also a plus. Proficiency with audio equipment, sound mixing, and broadcasting software is required. Familiarity with RF transmission and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
