Postdoctoral Researcher: Cell Competition and Ribosomal Signaling

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our laboratory at the University of California, Irvine. Our research focuses on the molecular effects of ribosome biogenesis defects, cell competition between cells of different fitness, and the origins of cancer from chromosome and ribosome defects.
Research Opportunities
Our laboratory employs a combination of in vivo molecular genetics, imaging, and manipulations of developing Drosophila and mouse tissues, cell culture, single-cell sequencing, and profiling methods, and in vitro molecular biology. Expertise in these areas is desirable, but self-motivation and independence are more important.
Qualifications
A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field and a record of published or accepted peer-reviewed research articles appropriate for career stage are expected.
