Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Specialty Finance & Fintech Investment Team as a Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies, managing investment portfolios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cash flow credit models to evaluate deal returns and investment opportunities
  • Underwrite and execute whole loans and credit facilities, leveraging expertise in securitization banking and asset-based finance
  • Build comprehensive financial models and evaluate various deal structures, including portfolio of whole loans, credit facilities, and tranches of ABS
  • Communicate investment strategies and performance to investors, building out investor presentations in PowerPoint
  • Support due diligence of loan originators, including new private fintech companies
  • Pricing and modeling securitizations using Intex and in-house models built in Python/Excel
Requirements
  • Quantitative degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, computer science, or other quantitative disciplines
  • 3-7 years of experience in Tier 1 Buy-side or Sell-side experience in investment banking, securitization banking, asset-based finance, asset-backed securities portfolio management, or asset-based lending
  • Extensive trading experience using Intex and interacting with the street
  • Excellent technical proficiency in Excel/VBA, with database and programming skills a plus
  • Extensive experience in securitization markets and ability to analyze a specialty finance company and its assets
  • Intellectually curious, resourceful, organized, and attentive to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and driven, with ability to work in a collaborative, demanding, and dynamic environment
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the United States. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and other benefits to eligible employees.
