PhD Polymer Synthesis Chemist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PhD Polymer Synthesis Chemist to join our team at CPS. As a key member of our Technology Development team, you will be responsible for conducting complex research and development activities to meet the objectives of our projects.

• Conduct synthesis, characterization, and testing activities to meet project objectives.
• Design and lead projects, including approach, test plans, and milestones.
• Develop fundamental understanding of lubricating oil performance and design new components.
• Evaluate and interpret data, provide recommendations, and identify hurdles to project completion.
• Participate in technical reviews, present findings, and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead special research projects independently and oversee technical activities.
• Understand and comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain complete documentation and participate in Quality System related activities.
• Represent the company in technical conferences and maintain technical expertise.

• PhD in Polymer Science or related field.
• Classical training in polymer synthesis techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead projects and direct technical team members.
