Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and addressing students' occupational therapy needs, developing personalized intervention plans, and educating and training families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address each student's unique needs.
  • Educate students and their families about occupational therapy, its benefits, and effective management techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting.
  • Experience working in a school setting as an OT is preferred.
Education
  • Must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred.
  • Must have a valid state license or be eligible for licensure.
