As an Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include examining project blueprints and specifications, executing quantity takeoffs, and pricing all facets of the project by evaluating and interpreting construction documents. You will be tasked with estimating overhead costs, developing unit pricing across various trade disciplines, and conducting system trade-off analyses by leveraging industry expertise to create cost estimates that accurately reflect local market conditions and project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ESTIMATOR:

  • Analyze project plans and specifications, conduct quantity takeoffs, and provide pricing for all project components.
  • Oversee, organize, and participate in the overall bidding and proposal processes.
  • Interpret, quantify, and analyze construction documents across all trade disciplines while estimating overhead costs.
  • Utilize diverse system unit pricing across multiple trades, applying both current and historical market data.
  • Execute macro-level system trade-off comparisons (including structural, mechanical, and foundational systems).
  • Conduct conceptual estimates with limited design details efficiently, recognizing the appropriate level of detail for various stakeholders. Employ program square footage costs as necessary.
