Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will design, create, maintain, audit, and improve software applications by performing coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

Responsibilities
  1. Research and design software applications based on user requirements.
  2. Write, test, and implement efficient code.
  3. Maintain and develop existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
  4. Work within an Agile environment, responding to change quickly and adapting to evolving requirements.
  5. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  6. Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 3+ years of related experience.
  3. Strong technical competency in C#.NET, Visual Studio, and Angular.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
What We Offer

Nelnet offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, earned time off, 401K, student loan repayment, life insurance, AD&D insurance, employee assistance program, employee stock purchase program, tuition reimbursement, performance-based incentive pay, short- and long-term disability, and a robust wellness program.
