Job Title: Spa Dual (Massage Therapist/Esthetician)

At Austin Proper Hotel and Residences, we are seeking a skilled Spa Dual to join our team. As a Massage Therapist/Esthetician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage, facial, and body treatments to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform massage, facial, and body services that meet our high standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Assess contraindications and ensure guest safety throughout the service.
  • Meet the needs of guests at all times, providing a personalized experience.
  • Understand and implement universal precautions when providing services.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment daily, adhering to CDC guidelines.
  • Maintain product knowledge and be able to explain ingredients and benefits to guests.
  • Suggest additional treatments and products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Upsell services and products to increase revenue.
  • Begin and end treatments on time, ensuring a smooth experience for guests.
  • Work assigned schedule, arriving and departing on time.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
  • Inform management of product needs and maintain client cards and treatment notes.
  • Complete assigned side work and attend scheduled meetings and training.
  • Report incidents or accidents to management.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state license in massage therapy with a minimum of 750 hours.
  • Previous experience in massage, facial, and body work.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a spa and hotel setting.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Availability:

This role requires flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
